Yes - in set increments. Each mast is made up of multiple sections that are extended by hand and locked in place with the supplied D-locking pins. Each section has a single locking position, so you set the working height by choosing how many sections to raise, rather than stopping anywhere along a section. That gives you a fixed range of heights between packed and fully extended, and the same mast can be packed down and re-set as often as your deployment requires.
Packed length is the mast's length when fully collapsed, which determines how easily it transports and stores. Extended height is how tall it stands once deployed. A mast with a 2.0 metre packed length, for example, can extend to over 10 metres. Our range is organised both ways so you can shop by whichever measurement matters most to your application.
Top load ratings vary by model, ranging from 4.0kg up to 10kg. The rating is listed on each product, alongside its extended height and packed length, so you can match a mast to the antenna or equipment you intend to mount.
No. Our masts are extended manually and held in position with D-locking pins. There are no pressurised sections, O-rings or scraper rings, so there is no compressor to carry, no air system to maintain, and no pressure loss to manage in the field.
Very little. Because there are no pressurised sections or O-rings, there is nothing to degrade or fail under pressure. The masts are deployed in environments from marine to arid remote locations and are designed to keep working there with minimal upkeep.
Yes. All of our masts are manufactured in-house in Australia, which means we can adapt height, section count and mounting to suit a specific requirement. Contact us directly to discuss a custom solution.
