6m antenna masts are popular for emergency communications, environmental and wildlife monitoring, temporary broadcast setups and RF field work. The extra height helps clear buildings, tree lines and terrain that would otherwise block signal at lower elevations.
Our 6m range supports top loads of 12kg and 13kg, giving it one of the highest load ratings in our telescopic mast line-up. That makes it suitable for heavier Yagi arrays, dish antennas, sensor packages and multi-antenna mounts.
A 6m mast lifts your antenna about a metre higher and also carries a heavier top load than most 5m models. Choose 6m if you need extra reach over surrounding structures or you're mounting heavier antennas; choose 5m if lighter payloads and slightly easier handling matter more.
Yes - both 6m models pack down to 2.0m collapsed, so they fit inside vehicles, roof tubes and equipment cases just like our shorter masts. That combination of higher extended height and compact packed size makes them a common pick for field-based operators.
